InfoAmazonia was launched in June during the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, Rio+20, and aimed to showcase deforestation in the Brazilian Amazon. Now, however, thanks to the collaboration between the online platform and the Terra-i system, it is possible to include data of deforestation rates from all the Pan Amazonian countries, including Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname and the French Guiana.
